Nominate yourself or others for the HAPA Board of Directors 2025-2026 Election!

Important Dates:
May 30th @ Midnight: last chance to enter nominations
June 1st-14th: election is open to voting
July 1st: New board takes office!
Instructions:
Fill out the Nomination Form with all of the necessary information by May 30th at midnight.
Positions Available:

President Elect: Becomes President July 1st 2026 - June 30th 2027
- Shadows the current president for 1 year to learn duties and responsibilities.

Becomes President the following year and then assumes roles such as
- Annual insurance and business paperwork
- Plan bi-Annual general membership meetings
- Lead monthly board meetings
- Maintain contact with student reps from each PA program
- Attend legislative meetings
- Maintain access to online accounts
- Insure representation at HOD meeting annually
- Signing contracts

Vice President: Assists president when they are unavailable
- Assist with posting upcoming events
- Assist with creating event flyers
- Assist with hosting events/dinners/educational tabling events
- Run meetings when president is unavailable
- Plan quarterly Pau Hana Events

Treasurer:
- updating bank accounts with new board members
- updating the banking software and keeping track of disconnections
- processing refunds
- updating the board at monthly board meetings of banking status
- Check PO Box

Director at Large (2):
- Assist with social media updates
- Assist with in person events as needed
- Assist with creating event flyers
- Assist with scheduling educational events if desired
- Bring opportunities or ideas to board meetings

House of Delegates Meeting Delegate (2):
- Attend HOD meeting (flights, hotel, and conference fee is paid for by HAPA)
- Review potential resolutions that HAPA may be involved in
- Report back to HAPA and membership after conference
