Clinical Decision-Making Processes Regarding Opioid Prescriptions

Posted over 5 years ago by Joel Hamaguchi

The Health Innovation Lab at the University of Texas at Austin’s Dell Medical School is recruiting clinicians with prescribing privileges to participate in a brief research survey to increase our understanding of clinical decision-making processes regarding opioid prescriptions.

The IRB-approved survey will take less than 30 minutes. Participation is voluntary and no compensation will be provided. All data will be collected confidentially through REDCap, and all information will be coded with a unique identification number so that it cannot be associated with you. The information gathered will be used only for scientific purposes.

You are eligible to participate if you are a clinician with prescribing privileges who works primarily in one of the following fields: primary care, general hospital care (e.g., IM/hospitalist), or surgery (any surgical specialty). You must be currently employed in the United States, over the age of 18, and fluent in English.

Please click on the link below and after completing the informed consent you will be taken to the survey. To participate, please go to http://j.mp/2CzVGmU in your browser.
