Registration is now open for the 16th Aloha Pediatric Infectious Diseases Conference on Saturday,
Nov. 23, 2024 from 12:30– 4:30 p.m. This conference will be held in-person at the Kapi‘olani Medical Center
for Women & Children and there will be a virtual option to attend via ZOOM.
The Aloha Pediatric Infectious Diseases Conference is an annual educational event that highlights
current topics of interest for those caring for pediatric patients. The keynote speaker is David Kimberlin, MD,
Co-Director, Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine.
Dr. Kimberlin will speak about Recent Developments in the Detection and Management of Congenital Cytomegalovirus Infections.
Other Topics include:
- Congenital Syphilis
- Toxoplasmosis
- Tuberculosis in Hawai‘i
- TORCH Infections
We welcome pediatric physicians, family medicine physicians, pediatric and adult infectious diseases specialists, nurses, pharmacists, social workers, residents, medical students and graduate students, pre-medical students and other allied health professionals with an interest in Pediatric Infectious Diseases.
