SB2445 (pdf) is scheduled for a hearing in front of the Senate Committee on Commerce and Consumer Protection on Tuesday, February 22, at 10:00A.

HAPA encourages you to provide written testimony (see attached for sample testimony). As a reminder, the steps to provide testimony are:

  • Hawaii State Legislature website -> Click ‘Register’ to create an account
  • Once logged in, search for bill numbers and click ‘Submit Testimony’
  • Fill out demographic information, indicate your position (support/oppose), select testifying 'as an individual citizen', select 'written testimony only' and upload document (.doc, .docx, .pdf, .rtf, .txt, .odt)
