Maui PAs! Please join us for a weekend of in person events on Maui!

Happy hour time updated to Friday 5/2 at 5pm. Listening session is still Saturday 5/3 at 9am-11am. 

HAPA will be hosting 2 events in order to better connect with our neighbor island PAs and get a sense of what we can do to help elevate PA practice in your area. 

Our events include: 

1. Friday (5/2) Happy Hour at Cafe O Lei at 5:00pm. Join us for a casual networking event where PAs can hang out in a laid back social environment. Connect with PAs in your area and meet some of your HAPA representatives in person!

2. Saturday (5/3) Legislative Listening Session at Maui Memorial Medical Center Multipurpose Room from 9-11am. 

This is an open time for PAs to come and discuss legislative or practice barriers that inhibit them from providing the best care possible. Some examples may include prescription cosignatures, implementation of new legislation, physician supervision requirements etc...

Our legislative Liaison Leocadia Conlon PhD, MPH, PA-C and Secretary Jessica Mattson PA-C, CDCES will be on site to facilitate the conversation and listen to your concerns which will in turn, aid us in shaping our goals for the upcoming years. 

Please RSVP to this event if you will be attending the Happy Hour on 5/2. If you will be attending the listening session on 5/3 no  RSVP is required, feel free to join at any time between 9-11am.
