HAPA Fall General Membership Meeting

Aloha HAPA Members, 

Join us Tuesday October 15th for our biannual general membership meeting. Our night will begin with dinner and a short presentation by Aly Hite, MPH from Ho'ola Health on career opportunities with their growing group. Following their introduction our HAPA meeting with begin and will cover:

• Updated Hawaii workforce data
• HAPA Goals
• Ways to get involved (Legislative committee, Honolulu Medical Tent Volunteer Opportunities, Conference Planning Committee, Pre-PA Education)
• Conference review
• HPU PA Program updates 
• Legislative updates (Points of discussion include: name change, preceptor tax credit, outer island visits)
• and More!

* We will be concluding the meeting with a member round table listening session lead by our Legislative Liaison, Leocadia Conlon, PhD, MPH, PA-C. The goal of this session is to further identify areas of need across our state and hear what our members feel is most important to improve their practice environments. We want to hear from you and hope you can join us. If you are unable to attend we will have an additional listening session on Thursday October 17th at 6pm at Kapiolani Medical Center. Zoom link for both sessions will be distributed 2 hours prior to the meeting.

Where: Kapiolani Medical Center Conference Rooms 8-10

When: October 15th from 6-8pm

Food: Dinner provided by Ho'ola Health from Side Street Inn 

Parking: Flat rate garage or street parking available

Zoom: Zoom link will be sent to all who have registered 2 hours prior to the meeting. (Although zoom option is available we encourage in-person attendance)

T-Shirt Pick-up: T-shirt pickup will be available for those who pre-ordered. If you missed pre-order and would like a T-shirt they will be available for purchase via check or Venmo.
