PRN Neurosurgery NP/PA | Experience Required | Montclair, NJ- 20 mi from NYC

Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center in Montclair, NJ- 20 mi from NYC, has an immediate opening for an experienced Neurosurgery Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for a PRN position starting at 10-15 hrs. a week.

Requirement: 2-3 years of neurosurgery APP experience

About Your Work:

• Inpatient-only setting
• Work w/ Neurosurgery, Neuro Spine and Neuroendovascular disciplines
• Potential growth into part-time or full-time position
• Schedule 7 a.m. -5 p.m. (flexible)
• Patient load: 5-10/day
• Team of 12 surgeons (work w/ 5-7/day)
• Hospital & ED consultations and pre-surgery assistance (prep patients, do H&Ps, enter pre-orders, etc.)
• Opportunity for first-assist based upon candidate interest/qualification
• Epic EMR
